As I was driving home last evening I caught a stoplight and was waiting behind a man on a motorcycle. I noticed that the back of his helmet had several "labels" stacked on it. I edged closer and this is what I saw.

No Allergies
Type O Positive
Do Not Resuscitate
Organ Donor
As the light turned green I felt very conflicted. Talk about preparing for the worst. Or is he just smart in expressing his wishes on his helmet should he be thrown through the sky landing in a heap? I thought about it for the remainder of my drive. Then I decided I should put the same labels on my bumper.

He's probably been in an accident before or knows someone who has. Although he might just think it's funny too. I mean there's nothing in between you and the road, something I try not to think about!! But really, you figure you could easily become separated from your ID in an accident while the helmet, ideally, stays with you.
