My 4 year old daughter calls her toes "piggy toes", even in random conversation.
"My piggy toe hurts."
"Sissy stepped on my piggy toe."
I love the simplicity of this and how unaware she is that not everyone refers to their toes this way.
My 7 year old daughter was delighted this morning when I gave her a dollar store flower lei and grass skirt to wear to tonights Girl Scout Thinking Day celebration. She doesn't beg for every Hannah Montana item she sees or whine because she didn't get to see Hannah in concert. She was happy with the dollar items probably because they are pink. Let's hope it lasts.
